Roma Italian Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
Roma's was highly recommended in some groups I'm in, and honestly I thought it was another restaurant for the longest time that I already reviewed which was why I hadn't gone. After trying this restaurant I'm excited to try more from them. Portions are very generous. They have complimentary bread service. We went during lunch, so we got the lunch special menu as well. Pasta sampler special 5 stars At lunch it's 10.99. You save 2 dollars. At dinner I suggest you get the pasta combo which has a large serving of the sampler plus 2 more items. The price difference is 2 dollars from there (so a total of 4 at lunch, but 2 at dinner), so it's not much money, but you get a lot more. Lunch also comes with a salad which is why I went with the pasta sampler today. The flavors are perfect for me and this is a dish id return for. The price point is also very good. Grilled chicken breast 4 stars It was a great version of the grilled chicken breast. Good sized portion. At lunch it was 13 dollars. The vegetables were over salted for my tastes. Roma special 4.5 stars I think the sauce in this was excellent. My chef friend thought it tasted like pizza sauce though. I ordered this because I asked for their 5 star item. The dish itself was massive. For 17.99 it was a great deal with all the meat it came with. I'm just not really into that much meat, but it is very much perfect for the meat lover. I can see why they wanted me to try this dish. Service started off a bit rocky in terms that we sat there for a good amount of time with no one coming up to us. As soon as someone finally approached our table, the service from then was excellent. I included my body in one of the photos with the dishes next to each other for size comparison. Parking is available in a medium sized lot. The rows were a bit narrow and difficult for my friends jeep (he has a very large vehicle) , but smaller cars will have no problems.
The cannelloni was delicious, cannoli for dessert. Celebrating my cousins birthday and my son’s first night out for dinner. We had great service, the restaurant was spacious and welcoming.
Delicious Italian food! That sums up our experience at Roma Italian Restaurant; but it doesn't say enough... Service was superb and the atmosphere was pleasant too. We relaxed while listening to Perry Como and Vic Damone -- a nice musical improvement from the last several restaurants that we have visited. Meals come with a salad which is nicely chilled and includes tomato, onion, etc. The house Italian dressing was delightfully tangy. The Garlic Rolls were warm and very tasty! My wife chose the Pasta Combo and I had the Spinach Ravioli. They looked so good that we started eating before I remembered to take the attached photos. Flavor and temperature of both were excellent! In order to try a dessert, we elected to take home a portion of our entrees. The Cannoli was a picture of perfection... and tasted just as good! So good that I didn't even stop to snap a photo. Trust me, or better yet, try this place yourself -- everything was very delicious!
First time going to Roma's and I was blown away! The food is magnificent and the servings are huge! I had 3 servings left over to take home! Definitely get your money's worth! Their bread is delicious as well. The BEST Italian restaurant in Omaha! Definitely recommended it!
The food was amazing! The service was fast! The atmosphere was quiet and friendly. We celebrated my wife’s birthday this visit and it definitely hit the spot for everyone.
You would never know the great food and service at Romas just from driving by. It's not until you get inside and the aromas of bread, pasta and suaces hit you that you realize you made a good decision to stop in. To start, our server Cailleen was friendly and very attentive and kept our drinks full and checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The food was fresh and came out in a timely manner. We had the chicken parmigiana, salmon prima and the kids had baked ziti. It was all delicious and the portions were huge for the price. Also they bring a big basket of garlic knots to the table when you sit down and they were to die for. Definitely recommend this place and we will be returning!
I went to eat at Roma's on a Saturday at 5:00 PM. The 6 of us were able to be seated without any wait time. Our server was very polite and cracked a few jokes with us. The food arrived about 10 to 15 minutes after we ordered. The dishes we ordered were Steak (cooked well & tasted good), Chicken Florentine (Amazing flavor), and Chicken Parm (it was OK). We spent 130.00 for just the food. I would recommend thus restaurant to anyone looking for a calm atmosphere. When we left there was a line of people waiting all the way out the door.
Roma has amazing food, great service quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Try the Roma Special, the pink sauce is so yummy and you get to try several meats… and get a dessert! They are delicious.
